1995 Calon Segur that was the star of a nice French / Mediterranean dinner last night. Wonderful bouquet that was detected across the table the second the cork was removed. Perfect time in bottle as it was of fruit as well as herbaceous overtones and some light tannins — 9 years ago

A spectacular Barolo that could continue to age for a few more years. Tastes of cherry, slight tobacco, and rich flavor that just filled the mouth. I need to find a few more of these. Mistakenly typed 1979 vintage but this was a 1997 as shown in the photo. — 9 years ago
