Truly: fresh as a daisy w/ all the typical pelaverga notes intact plus another layer of crushed leaf and tobacco. If you're drinking gamay, poulsard, and trousseau and you don't treat Castello di Verduno Pelaverga w/ similar reverence, you're cheating yourself.
