Very harmonious wine with ripe peach, floral and dried apricot aromas. Full bodied with lower acidity but enough richness and texture to pull together a balanced finish. Drink now. — 9 years ago
For me, this is a benchmark Napa Merlot. Big, ripe black plum and blackberry, soft and fat structure with a bit of spice on the finish to save it from being one dimensional. — 11 years ago
Honeycomb, blood orange, incense. Explosively aromatic and refreshing with a perfect touch of sweetness to balance the racy acidity. Will easily last 10 years. This bottle though, will be gone much sooner than that. — 9 years ago
Deep and complex wine with red apple skin, malted milk and really interesting texture. Felt a little disjointed at first but came together with time in the glass. Plenty of time to go. — 9 years ago
Proof Mencia can stand on its own. Just an all around delicious wine with black fruit and spice. Well balanced and a great value for this authentic, no frills red from one of Spain's up and coming regions — 10 years ago

Probably peaking now with nice mix of darker brambly fruit, spice and dried flowers. A no frills Morgon that's refreshing and easy to drink. Better with a slight chill. — 9 years ago
Nice everyday Rioja but probably a bit past its prime if you're looking for more fruit than earth/floral notes. Easy drinking with nice freshness and balance — 9 years ago
One of the best whites I've had this year. Intensely aromatic, layers of ripe yellow fruit and grippy tannins from well integrated oak. Drank it last night, ordered a case this morning. Ridiculous value at $20 — 11 years ago

Cloudy, brick red color. Nose was very elegant with dried red fruit, dried flowers, subtle spice and earth. Tannins were completely mellowed but acidity was still remarkably fresh. Evolved for 20 minutes in the glass and then fell apart. Decant very gently and drink now. — 9 years ago
