Think Burnt caramel & cocoa, pepper soaked in blackberry purée. Compelling, shareable, pairable and seductive. — 11 years ago
Just another Zin. A little tight on first pour. It’s not going to blow anyone’s socks off. But it wasn’t bad. A good weeknight wine. It will probably age well. — a year ago
The 2018 vintage is absolutely delicious. Very nice berry flavors and just the right amount if spice. — 3 years ago
Delicious Zin Rosé. Just the right balance between fruit, color and flavor. Many rosés are made from Pinot or Grenache.. but I would measure this finely crafted Zin right along side! — a year ago
A sumptuous testament to the possibilities of blending. 50% Zin, 37% Cab, 13% Petite Sirah. Those three notes produce a remarkably harmonious chord — 11 years ago

This is a blend of Valdiguie, Carignan, Zin, Grenache Noir & Barbera. It was a little fizzy on opening. I’d describe it as a dark rosé with complexity. It has its place .. somewhere. It would might have been better as a red blend. It has a lot of dark fruit flavors which is unusual for a pink wine. The Broc website says it was foot stomped. But at 2,832 cases that would have been an epic stomp. 45 tons of stomping!!! Really? I wouldn’t buy it again. But it is unique. — a year ago
