Dark ruby. Black fruit on nose and palate, but more acidic than most that gives a fresh mouthfeel. Excellent grippy tannins adds interest. Another excellent value wine from this region. — 4 years ago
Good example of these Portuguese reds. Black berries aroma. Taste significantly more intense. Concentrated berries. Not much acid or tannins but rich and dark. Lacks edge but nice all the same. Not for everyday — 4 years ago
A buttery edge and less grassy. Like martins wine but nicer — 3 years ago
Sweet fruit aroma. Tastes balanced with hints of warm peach and honey. Dry but not astringent. Subtle — 4 years ago
Deep purple. Berries and jam on the nose not super intense. Tastes thickly of black berries. Medium tannins but not much acidity. Does the same job as some of those Portuguese sebutal reds but avoids cough syrup quality. — 4 years ago

Deep black fruit aroma with a dusty edge. Very lively mouthfeel. Strong on fruit without being cloying. Good astringency and excellent tannins. Long. — 4 years ago
Dark dark ruby. Black berries on nose. Black currant on the palate. Not acidic but also not syrupy like some. Firm tannins which elevates this above other setubals for me. Excellent value — 4 years ago
Warm ripe buttery tropical fruit aroma. Hint of juicyfruit bubblegum and overripe melon. Tastes less distinctively of tropical fruits and melons. Very fat mouthfeel with good acidity that balances and freshens. Good finish. A real contrast to my usual flinty grassy SBs. I really rate this and it is excellent value — 4 years ago
