For the price ($13) it is a nice chablis. I paired it with a Stilton cheese, and it was wonderful. I would buy it again, and would serve it to company if the meal called for a chardonnay type wine that wasn't super oak tasting. — 9 years ago

My husband and I both enjoy this wine as an easy drinking week night red wine. We compared it to a Deloach reserve pinot, and it wilted in comparison, but the Deloach is 2.5 times the price, so fair play. — 9 years ago

Nice aroma after breathing in the decanter. Dark brick color and medium legs. Medium body, a bit more acidic than I'm used to in American merlots that I drink. Slight chocolate and very plummy taste. Bought 2 bottles of it, and decided to put the 2nd one away for a few years and compare my notes then. — 9 years ago
