It's a good drinking wine, has some character and the flavor pallette is a little more than just basic. It's very dark fruit forward and a bit sour. I'm not a huge fan but if someone brought this to a party I'd probably have a glass.

Edit: the more I drink this the more I like it as it warms to room temperature it gives a more leathery forward taste and a sweet aftertaste. Not a complex wine, but it's good for drinking casually. — 4 years ago
