This Blanc de noirs is a solid summer drink. Light, refreshing, not too dry or acidic. Very well-balanced. Soft melon on the nose, green grass palate with a nice hit of lemon — 7 years ago
I found this wine to be particularity jammy, and with a strange metallic taste on the front of the palette. Mid-palette you got a fresh hit of raspberry, and then a finish with something like dried cherries or cranberries - quite tart, but aged. The finish was a blanket of vanilla extract - felt like oak was used to cover imperfections and poor balance. Unfortunately none of the cedar or spiciness mentioned by others - that would've helped balance the wine and make it more enjoyable! — 7 years ago
Surprisingly meaty nose, like jerky with pepper. Contrasts nicely and surprisingly with the bright, refreshing mouth feel. Not too dry, with a strong dried orange peel and cranberry flavour. — 7 years ago
Crisp, light, and well-balanced. Not too dry. Tart apple and light honeysuckle. — 7 years ago
Pascale Schittecatte
Appearance: clear, pale, ruby.
Nose: clean, light, red fruit (plums), light oak (clove).
Palate: dry, medium acid, high tannins, medium body, again red fruits, but with punchier and rawer spices - green pepper, medium finish.
Quality: Very good. Nice balance between tannins and body, good length for pairing with food or to drink on its own, intensity is subtle but present, and complexity is evident but not overdone.
This was after half an hour of breathing. — 7 years ago
