Medium body burgundy style with some chewiness and rich rather than bright fruits. Exceptional value! Drinks well with and without food. Bravo 👏 — 5 years ago
Whoa! That’s a Hefty Zin! (Unlike a couple of recent CH Zins)
This particular CH Zin is rather full bodied(yea!) interesting wine with some legs in the middle and finish with a nice nose to boot! Extremely drinkable with and without food. I want more of this(particularly at this price $😋 — 4 years ago
South American version of the northern Italians Lagrein grape.
Concentrated fruits, mid tannins with pleasant finish.
Probably good with meats — 4 years ago
Nice color, creamy , some honey, little acidity though. Muscat seems to me a bit forward in this particular year. — 5 years ago
Juicy and plummy! Nice weight medium finish drinks well without food also! — 5 years ago
Merlot with a little bit of bite! Nice dense color and structure with a bit of “mouth puckering” in the finish. Better after a bit of air. — 4 years ago
Ok my son put me on to this next level up of “let buy a few barrels that came from some great grapes “ Cameron Hughes negotiated wine finds.
Drinks like a young upper level Bordeaux that will be better a few years down the line. Nice structure that lacks some complexities of the top level Bordeaux’s but for the price it’s a killer value! — 4 years ago
Clean refreshing citrus grapefruit forward SB. Good value. — 5 years ago
