Shy at first, but willing to reveal itself as time went on. Bitter melon rind and green fruit are first, ethanol, mineral, and noble rot earthiness continues on through to triumphant acidity...high vibration winemaking...good to drink now, but with age could become otherworldly 🌓 — 7 years ago

Leathery on the nose. Very crisp initial dark darkness....well spoken. For the price not bad — 7 years ago

Drinking this was mind bending. I had known of Bachelet but never expected greatness from the Aligoté grape. It is definitely still alive and kicking in 2017. Electricity on the palate that keeps giving and giving from the earth. Hay, underripe fruits, must've-been-malo creaminess. If you're sitting on this bottle overlook it no longer. It's singing to the heavens — 7 years ago

This bottle drank like a fine sherry. Lots of savory nuttiness and tinted a deep deep orange. Not sure if it was the bottle or the vintage that lost its structure....but It's lucky I'm a sherry fan. — 7 years ago

This is some pretty bomb natty juice. Very very tart on the palate...reminds me of ACV and berlinerweisse....minerality is the first to arrive, some fruit shows up later but not much. Reminds me of eating underripe green plums in Eastern Europe. Tannic and bitter. After 45 minutes the flowers and melons started emerging from the cloudy soup. For twenty four bucks it's worth the experience. Always nice to take more notes on the garganega grape — 7 years ago

Jammy and out of control. Not the worst Malbec I've had from Mendoza, not the best. — 7 years ago
