Lovely 2012 Chambolle-Musigny. Nicely in balance. When poured in the glass an intense bacon fat aroma welcomed me. It opened up to some nice red fruit, after a couple of minutes. Great effort by Joseph Faiveley — 7 years ago

How amazing! A wonderful 2003. When I opened the bottle, I thought to throw it in the sea 😇. But after some air it really opened up. It’s a clear deep ruby colour. Quite strong flavours of red fruits. Some fig and other dried fruits. Dry, medium tannin, medium alcohol, full body. Not a truly long finish. Outstanding. Developed. I’d drink it now, but it might even improve over time. — 7 years ago

Amazing second wine of DRC. I had the 2011 in 2018; so it had some age. It had some game aromas, and then quite floral. Medium plus intensity. Medium body, medium plus tannins. But the tannins were quite ripe. Overall an amazing wine to just enjoy. — 7 years ago
