Still young, not peaking but surprising nonetheless (maybe my expectations were lower?) -- nose immediately brings raspberry and strong strawberry, along with plum notes. More tannic than I usually like but a nice blackberry on the finish was a welcome arrival. — 11 years ago

Seriously about as perfect as a red can get. And I typically hate Sryahs! Dark fruit dominates this rich bodied wine, with flavors of plum, currant, cherry mixing with a hint of chocolate and read berry on the finish. Even some elderberry?!? Amay-zing. — 11 years ago
Great intro to Super Tuscans! 72% Sangiovese, rest is Merlot. Not heavy, very fruity nose. Immediately hit w fruit on first taste. Def aerate. Very light on follow through, doesn't linger on palate and favors clean finish as you'd expect w a ST. Price: bought for $11.99 — 12 years ago

Does not suck. Slightly lighter body than I was expecting; nose rich with currant; on first taste, very red fruit forward; lingering finish of chocolate. Delish. — 11 years ago
