With four moves across three jurisdictions this wine was well travelled, and, it would be fair to say has travelled exceptionally well. It’s rich with mint and cigar notes across a palate that was long! Wish I had bought more — a year ago

We enjoyed this at a celebration of 40 years of marriage (not mine), at a Chinese restaurant. Unfortunately it was not decanted first. On first sip it was tight, with a slightly sour after note, but 30 minutes later it was drinking really well - very (very) smooth!
There are all the usual Coonawarra Shiraz suspects without the deep earthy aged tones.
