Ok. White blend of Muscat Blanc and Vermentino from Languedoc. A little bitter and lacked the floral elements that I would expect in dry Muscat. Ok weeknight bottle. — a month ago
Inexpensive Chablis from Costco that checks all the boxes. Tart green apple, hint of salinity, wet rock and great acidity. Good value. — a month ago
Classic Gruner: radish, white pepper, tart underripe yellow apple with great acidity. — a month ago
Warmer vintage? Fruit was riper than I expected. More tropical and not as mineral, citrus driven as I expected. — a month ago
Everything I want in a white Burg. Some new oak but subtle and complimentary. Tart green apple, hint of tropical fruit, wet rock and good acidity. — a month ago
Big fan of both grapes: Gamay and Mondeuse. Didn’t get the spice that I associate with Mondeuse. The Gamay seemed to dominate. Juicy red fruit, no tannins, good acidity. Will cellar my other bottle for a while before drinking. — a month ago
This is a powerhouse Nerello. Tannic, dark, red fruit but primarily darker fruit. Good acidity, smoky and complex. This is built for long aging. Delicious! — a month ago
