The 2007 is actually 100% malbec.
The parcels are planted 50% Argentinian Malbec 50% French Malbec.
This makes for smooth and soft tannins. The high altitude allows for cool nights and cooling of grapes.
That vintage is full of pleasant surprises.
Rich and fruity, soft tannins.
Aromas of tabacco and wild grasses
Lasting and powerful on the palate but remaining slow to reveal all its flavors.
Recommend decanting a good 1/2 hour to 45'. Best served around 65 to 68. — 10 years ago
Very Acidic, still green. Needs at least another year. Light color. Nose very earthy — 9 years ago
52 years old and still full of promises.
Beautiful honey color
Extremely complex yet rich and smooth
Perfect match with the foie gras we hate. Kept the rest for the desert.

Pierre Tarrene
Strong Tannins. Open pleasantly to black cherries and liquorice. Did well as a pairing of duck breastfeeding with red beets. — 9 years ago
