This wine is very inviting and pairs well with Italian food. A bit lacking in character, but that lends it to pairing well with multiple dishes at the same table... A nice feature for vegetarians dining with omnivores! Not too overpowering, but does stand up to wine (merlot) braised short ribs.

This was a good dinner wine. We had it with Christmas dinner-roast chicken root veg etc. it did not over power the meal, but would pair better with pasta of cacciatore. — 10 years ago

Paired with grass fed tenderloin and wild rice sweet potato pilaf. One of our favourites. Not precisely true to Pinot, but such a delicious wine. — 10 years ago
I am not normally a fan of Merlot, but this wine was tasty and the price is good. I will definitely get it again. Very drinkable and "velvety" with a nice balance of fruit. A bit flat in the middle but very smooth finish.
As a side note, it was the letterpress-like label that intrigued me to begin with. — 10 years ago
