Baked beans, maple smoked bacon, balsamic, blackberry compote. Big attack. Long, meaty finish. — 8 years ago
Red cherry candy, anise, smoked meat. It's youth shows in its chalky tannin but the wine is lovely, bright and complex with a long, cherry finish. Fantastic wine for the money. — 8 years ago
Spiced apple, apple cider and cinnamon with a devastatingly long finish of ripe apple, apple sauce and a round, supple grip. Blanc de blanc, you get me. Happy New Year! — 7 years ago
Black cherry, strawberry jam, leather, spinach, pepper and violets. Round on the palate with chewy tannins just dying for steak. Lovely boutique wine. — 7 years ago
Lovely producer champagne with delicate toast and a notable nuttiness and grippy texture. — 8 years ago
Still too young but oh so lovely with notes of cherry, black tea, bramble, earth and a subtle note of tar. Vietti, you never disappoint me. — 8 years ago
Red cherry, bramble, sage, oregano, black pepper. A lovely surprise of a wine finishes with a pleasant grip. Like a summery Syrah. — 7 years ago
All tertiary aromas. Hay, leather, shoe polish, sawdust and cedar, rounded out with a subtle note of still-present fresh raspberry and chalky tannin. Drinking beautifully. — 7 years ago
Beautiful, aromatic bouquet of rose, tar, wet wood and jasmine. Long finish of smoke, bark and ash. The anticipated Nebbiolo grip is not immediately evident, but opens over time. Complex, persistent, holds my attention the whole way through. — 8 years ago

Well developed tertiary notes of leather, cigar box, old cedar but still showing younger notes of stewed cherry and cinnamon. Lingering notes of moldy leaves = Bordeaux perfection. — 6 years ago
