Excellent Nebbiolo. Nicely balanced but big tannins. Perfect w carbonara. Fruit profile is more subtle. Paid $65 at resto. — 3 months ago
Superb. Organic aglianico. Rec’d by sommelier. Pricey for eur110 at a resto. But memorable. Big, chewy, tannic wine. Spices, earthy, figs. But nice balance. 14% al. — 3 months ago
Pretty disappointing day one and day two. High al at 14.5% made this seem unbalanced. Fruit profile was very muted and undistinguishable. Not worth the money. Paid $50 in 2021. — 4 months ago
Elegant, light body, balanced, subtle cherry, An interesting spiced trait. Like a more complex young Nebbiolo. 13.5% al. Buy again. — a month ago
Amazing. I haven’t had many barbaresco and barolos. But this barbaresco w age is wonderful. Age shows beautifully. Still strong tannins, earthy, mushrooms, rich cherries, long finish. Paid $140 at resto. — 3 months ago
For $19, a bargain. Robust all around but balanced. Long finish. Earthy. Dark and inky. Rich blackberry. Buy again. Better than other $30-40 riojas w more age. — 4 months ago
For $25, a great value. Doesn’t have the age to make it memorable. But a great value rioja. Well balanced. Could probably keep aging. Def buy again. — 2 months ago
So so. I didn’t realize this was solely a Grenache wine. I also didn’t know Grenache was produced in Marche. It was nice but nothing memorable. For $90 at a resto, way overpriced. — 3 months ago
Love it. Though big, bold, and high al at 14.5%, a great example of a rioja w some age. Prob could age much longer. Very tart fruit. Fruit better defined day one vs day two. For $40, definitely worth it. Why ever drink a 2yr old CA cab and pay $100+??!! — 3 months ago

Excellent. My kind of wine. Well balanced, light body, but also robust and long finish. Has decent tannins and high acidity. Reminds me of Calabretta Sicilian wines. Gaglioppo grape. Paid $20. Buy again. — 14 days ago
