So so. Overpriced at $34. Not well balanced. A bit too much strawberry and soft. — 2 months ago
Love this. Nicely balanced that has lots of similarities to a BX w some age. Lead, leather, spice, plums, earthy. Nose is a bit hot. Still, a great value for $26. Buy again. — 3 months ago
For $19, a bargain. Robust all around but balanced. Long finish. Earthy. Dark and inky. Rich blackberry. Buy again. Better than other $30-40 riojas w more age. — 20 days ago

Very unique. Wasn’t sure at first. Almost too herbal and tannic initially. High Al traits too. But w some air, it definitely grew on me. the extreme herbal notes and al mellowed. The tannins didn’t. But the high acidity seemed to make it balanced. Esp w the braised beef pasta. Definitely try again because it’s so unique. It’s basically their basic wine on roids. But not as fruit forward. — 3 months ago
Pretty disappointing day one and day two. High al at 14.5% made this seem unbalanced. Fruit profile was very muted and undistinguishable. Not worth the money. Paid $50 in 2021. — a month ago
For $28, this is why I like aged rioja. Such a great value. This one still seems young. But well balanced. More fruity and acidic than others I’ve had w this age. Buy again. — 2 months ago
Not for me. Like a flabby high al syrupy Cali cab it zin. No balance. — 3 months ago
I really wanted to like it. But it seemed “flat”. Maybe past its prime. Didn’t have much structure. — 5 months ago

Love it. Though big, bold, and high al at 14.5%, a great example of a rioja w some age. Prob could age much longer. Very tart fruit. Fruit better defined day one vs day two. For $40, definitely worth it. Why ever drink a 2yr old CA cab and pay $100+??!! — 6 hours ago
