Great balance. The cuvée makes for less austerity than most Nebbiolos yet maintains the elegance one expects from the region. — 8 years ago
Dynamite. Eyes closed would say this is a Bourgogne. Morey? Elegant supple light sensual velvet — 8 years ago

Incredibly expressive nose of dried rose petal and forest floor gives way surprisingly round body with a suave grip and structure. Licorice, candied violets, lingering warm biscuit? — 8 years ago
Slightly oxidized in a classic way nebs can be. beautifully light style one looks for in a young year in this wine, perfect balance, suede mouth feel, dried flowers in the nose, I don't get as much fruit and more terroir as other years from this house! Definitely my kind of wine. — 8 years ago
Could age longer. Slight bricking. Beautiful nose, candied violets. Not big, more linear but finishes with some definite length. Decanted for an hour and a half. — 8 years ago
A beguiling quaffer, light and simple, lively, wonderful gamy tinged and vivace. — 8 years ago
Luscious, quaffable, chilled, beguiling, light, steady lean minerality underneath. Lovely crowd-pleaser — 8 years ago

Kind of concentrated, nose is tight, unyielding with just mineral and undefined notes suggesting bruised fruit skin. opens up with a green mulberry in the texture and a viscous mineral acidity – tastes of slate and even a slight pungent "barnyard" salinity - caramelized onion? None of the waxy honeyed lanolin which usually characterizes Savennieres. One of the most vexing bottles I've had in a long while. Not wholly satisfying. Interesting. I'm convinced I'm drinking this way too early. — 8 years ago
