2016 Sawtooth Tempranillo, Snake River Valley, Classic Fly Series. I have to say that Meredith Smith, the winemaker, did good on this one. It has all of the classic aromas of a Spanish Tempranillo. Besides the dark red fruit, it has smoke, leather, tobacco, full body, medium tannins, and is spicy on the finish, especially with food. Two thumbs up! — 5 years ago
Clear, still, no sediment, straw colored. Crisp citrus, apple, pear with slate and a hint of petrol. Fruity with some residual sugar and good acidity. Well-balanced, but young. It will shine in another 8-10 years. — 5 years ago
Very nice. Fruit forward; decant now; drink now to 2030. — 2 years ago
Pretty ruby color, fruity nose, raspberries, strawberries, white cherries; palate: fruit same as nose, medium minus body, balanced, fresh acidity, medium long finish; delicious Rhône-style blend. — 5 years ago
Clear, still, no sediment, pale yellow, citrus and green apples, same for palate. Extremely dry for a German Riesling. It really needs food; any seafood, cheese, or chicken dish. Medium + finish with a lot of acidity. If dry wine is your desire, you will love this Riesling. — 5 years ago
Excellent, drink now or hold — 3 years ago
Luscious, big Cab from WA. The tannins are well-tamped down with food. Spicy finish. Very nice indeed. — 4 years ago
