Lovely - big red and dark fruit on the nose. Pleasantly full yet somewhat tart on the palate. Super deal for the price. — 9 years ago
Light bodied, tasty muscadet from the Loire. Sweet lemon and lemon zest on the nose. Typical sense of sparkles on the tongue/palate with a quick acidic bite. Lovely - wish I was pairing it with some oysters... Recommended. — 10 years ago
Dark purple/hints of ruby. Medium plus body. Unripe Dark Cherry, Blackberry, and Plum on the nose. Fruit tastes more ripe on the palate. Medium + acidity. Medium finish. Rounded by oak (perhaps a bit excessively). Tasty and interesting overall. — 9 years ago
One of the darkest Gamay I've ever seen. The body is substantial for a Gamay. Powerful nose of black pepper, wet earth, and fermenting blackberries. Quick on the palate with a bright and tart short finish. Lovely. — 10 years ago
Really great. Lovely dark ruby color. Dark berry, pepper, and funk that disappears with air. Cherry syrup on the nose and palate. Light, medium finish. Recommend! — 9 years ago
What you would expect from a fine Brunello, only more refined, and delicate. Lovely red fruit with dry earth/chalk on the nose. On day two the earthy notes vanished. Definitely give this time to breathe. Balanced on the palate with med-high round tannins. Medium finish. So good! — 10 years ago
Light purple with hints of orange and brown. Medium-light body. Opened slightly tightly with notes of cola, earth, and bark. Some air (2 hours) revealed a rose-petal, cherry skin nose, and a lovely jammy palate. The medium to high acidity balances it very nicely. Some earth remained throughout. Very nice - recommended! — 10 years ago
