Côtes du Rhône Red Blend 2011
I thought this was a excellent Cotes du Rhone! From a box! It had the same smooth characteristics as the bottle and the wooden box was a very nice presentation. Keep in mind the year 2011. It was also a good price at $39 (upper west side wine store) for basically four bottles of good wine. I'll drink again!

Cough syrup? Cassis ? Can't tell ...still figuring out smells. Dark ruby red. Love this one. Will seek out and keep a bottle at home.
