Decanted for an hour. Beautiful legs most likely due to the higher octane. Definitely warming on the alcohol that would most likely smooth out with some age. Medium high oak tannins that linger on to the finish. Decent amount of nuttiness with hints of some ripe black plum, dried cranberry, and dark chocolate throughout with a fairly dry finish. Overall very pleasant wine that can hold its own for the price point. — 8 years ago
