An Aspiring Som, off on a wine adventure.
Medium Garnat in the glass.
Medium aromas of black berries, black current, slight smoke, slight black pepper.
Dry, medium - tannins, medium acidity. Medium body, medium alcohol, medium black berry, black current, black plum flavours that follow the nose. Medium + finish.
Not a bad example of a Merlot. — 8 years ago
Pale lemon in the glass. Pronounced aromas of lemon juice, green apple, honey blossom. Super fresh and floral on the nose. Primary flavours that follow the nose, lemon apple, green pear. More complex that you'd think, due to the amount of blending. Light/medium - body. Medium + acidity. Medium alcohol. Long finish.
My type of wine, so am bias, but a perfect bone dry aperitif, super crisp and refreshing. — 8 years ago
Deep brown, pronounced aromas of toffee, caramel, hay, walnut, coffee,
Sweet, high acid, low alcohol, full bodied, pronounced flavours of coffee, toffee, hay, walnut, long finish

Deep purple.
Pronounced well developed aromas, ripe fresh red plum, smoke, charred wood, stone dust, vanilla, slight hints of stewed strawberries. No noticable tertiary flavours developed, fruits all seem ripe/fresh rather than baked.
Acidity is medium +, alcohol is medium +, tannins are medium + and are fine-grained, body is medium +, flavours are medium +, finish medium +. Flavours are more redcurrant, cranberry than red plum on the palate, with the presence of smoke and cedar still being there.
Guess this is a medium plus wine.
Drink now, but has the intensity of fruit, and supporting acidity and tannins to age well. Would definitely gain further complexity with age and acidity and tannins would definitely integrate to create a more rounded wine. — 8 years ago
++++++On passing this around we think this wine was faulty+++++++
Dark Ruby in the glass.
I think this wine might be faulty, as the aromas are way out of whack. By that I mean it smells of babies diapers.
On the palate; Under-ripe red fruits, strawberries, raspberries, kinda stem/stalky'y. Low intensity, low-medium- body, medium acidy, low body, short finish. Just not much here really, but what is there is in balance I guess.
Very interesting as a product of a cold country climate, very evident on the palate.
Unsure what the aromas are about.
Can't recommend I'm afraid — 8 years ago
Medium Ruby.
Light intensity primary aromas of simple fresh fruit aromas of strawberries, crushed red apple, wet grass.
Dry. Medium acidity, low ultra smooth tannins, medium - alcohol, medium - body, medium - flavour intensity of strawberries, red apple, pomegranate, cranberries. Short finish.
The wine is very well balanced, the acidity is refreshing, the fruit, while fairly simplistic is present and delicious.
The lack of alcohol and tannins does result in a lack of complexity.
I'm pleasantly surprised, even if it does remind me more if a fruit juice than a wine. — 8 years ago
Pale gold in the glass. Pronounced aromas of lychee, white peach, apricot, white rose, chalk. Beautiful aromas.
Dry. Medium acidity, 13% alcohol, full body, long finish. Pronounced flavours of ginger, blossom, slight lemon juice, lychee. Drink now.
For me, I adore the aromas coming off this wine, but, the lychee, almost off dry mix of flavours is just weird. — 8 years ago
Light ruby in the glass.
Aromas of ripe strawberries, strawberry syrup, red cherries in kirsch, reminds me of a Beaujolais.
Pronounced favours that follow the aromas. A very fruit forward wine, but with medium body, medium + acidity, medium + finish, low tannins, and medium alcohol, it's got a lot to back up the bold ripe strawberry flavours.
It's a delicious wine and something a bit different. Very enjoyable. — 8 years ago
Teran grape variety unique to Croatia, Slovenia and North East Italy. Deep ruby colour. Medium aromas of bramble, blackberries, blackberry leaf, tree bark. Dry, medium + acidity, medium - tannins. 13%. Medium - body. Medium - primary blackfruit flavours. Finish is medium.

This is Pale lemon in the glass.
On the nose, this is medium + intensity, but lively well defined sweet floral notes of honeysuckle, raw lively honey, dandelion, light notes of lemon, lychee, sap, apple juice.
On the palate it is full bodied and mouth coating, medium dry and low alcohol and medium acidity, this is well balanced until the fruit notes start to leave your palette and the then the sweetness starts to dominate. The finish is medium + and flavour intensity is the same.
This is an enjoyable wine to drink, just needs a higher level of acidity to balance out the residual sugar. But on the whole the delicious floral, fruity flavours carry this wine through any faults.
Drink now. — 8 years ago
