Recently got to try the unreleased 2013 vintage. One of the best wines I've ever had. Beautiful pepper, gun powder, bottle rocket smoke nose. Very smooth taste with a bit of earthy funk. The only wine I would rather drink is at least twice the price and near impossible to find. — 9 years ago

Very nice, light, great acid to balance out the thin body. Opened it with some spaghetti bolognese, but I added enough spice to the sauce that it paired well despite being such a light red. Very good Sangiovese, especially for the $20 I spent — 9 years ago

Slight musty basement on the cork, nearly imperceptible in the wine. Super thin body even for a light red like a Tempranillo. Not bad for a $5 grocery outlet buy but wouldn't seek it out. — 9 years ago
