Not nearly as sweet as previous vintages (thank God). Fruity, slightly floral, and chalky aromatics. Strong berry fruit and minerality for taste and a crisp finish. I'm currently at a Rose tasting party, and so far this is my fav; I hope it's not sold out. 70% Syrah 18% Grenache 12% Mourvedre — 6 years ago

Drinking a 2004 in 2018. — 6 years ago
This is a nice everyday red. The aromatics are of bramble, chocolate, and a little herb. An acidic red that pairs well with a meal, but is mild enough to enjoy on it's own. The wine tastes how it smells and has a mediumish body. This is a go-to wine for me, and I'm happy I can conveniently purchase it at my favorite wine bar. — 6 years ago
Ermahgerd, this wonder is SO yummy! We're drinking the 2012 in 2018. The nose is totally reminiscent of blackberry pie! This wine is smooth and easy to drink. My only complaint is that it has 16.6% abv, which makes it hard to appreciate more than a glass (especially if it's your second of the evening). Definitely drink this wine now if you have a bottle stashed away. Cheers! — 6 years ago
Surprising, to say the least. Juicy, yet dry. Great wine to just have a glass. — 6 years ago
I'm drinking the 2013 vintage in 2018. The nose is lightly fruity with a nice caramel note. My first impression was that the wine was pretty acidic and could use a food pairing, but over the duration of the night, as it opened more, the wine is acceptable as a stand alone. A little too light-bodied for me and not floral enough, but would be better with a snack. I'll try it that way tomorrow. — 6 years ago
