I'm not gonna play the game of 'guess the grape' but it certainly was interesting.

When you taste this, freshly opened, then when you draw this over your tongue to taste, it hits you in a rather unusual way, way-up in the nostrils.

I'll definitely try it again, but it's not gonna make it on to my top 5. — 8 years ago

A big wine with great length. Heavier than I usually prefer. It's one for food pairing, rather than quaffing, perhaps with an equally robust T-bone steak, or wild mushrooms.
