The tannins on this have fallen out and are leaving a grainy finish. The ripeness has faded a bit to dried fruit, fig, red, craisin. Still very interesting if a bit more astringent then I remembered. — 7 years ago

Tight at first and could use a decanting. Earth and menthol tobacco on the nose with some violets. Fruit comes through dark and rich on the palate. Some olive notes on the finish. — 7 years ago
