Pleasing; ok. Strawberries with a cherry edge flavour. Gooseberry nose. Did not keep well over a few days. — 8 years ago
A lovely port, nicely balanced. — 8 years ago

Nothing particularly wrong with it; it's just a bit dull, though admittedly I prefer heavier wines, but that's just my preference. — 7 years ago
A deep ruby colour and fruity nose. The taste is short but interesting with a little edge. Dry, hot, fruit is lighter and there is perhaps a hint of minerality. Half-way to a French wine. — 8 years ago
It's a bit like drinking the syrup from a tin of mixed fruit; which I quite like. Nice peach smell, would go nicely in a spritzer. Just enough acidity to take the edge off the 'syrup'. — 8 years ago

I enjoyed this juicy Malbec, very balanced and tasty. It could have benefited from a bit more alcohol to create a warm afterglow. — 7 years ago
A second outing of the same vintage; this time without food. I was less impressed with this on opening, but it came to life after allowing to breathe and being re-corked and opened two days later. Good, but perhaps better with a spicy beef dish. — 8 years ago

Needs to breathe, but a soft rush of delicate strawberry awaits. Smooth, with minimal tannin. Not much complexity but good if you want a no nonsense wine to drink without food. — 5 years ago
