A little bitey at first but settles well. Definitely better with aerating and having a moment to breath. Enjoyed with tortellini and low acidic spaghetti sauce. — a year ago
Oddly enough it does connect with you more each time you have some. Most enjoyable to have multiple small servings spread out over the day or a couple days. Not overbearing but still has good body. — a year ago
My wife rates as an 8 and I rate it as a 9. Significant to when we had it is that we didn’t pair it properly. We had a shrimp and rice meal of modest flavor and this wine pairs better stronger meat flavors, as the label identifies with salami, boar, and lamb. I’d definitely buy again and enjoy without hesitation. Smooth, long finish and pleasant to the palate the entire journey. — 22 days ago
Laughing when I say this… the first glass tastes just as wonderful as the last glass. Often when we do tastings the last glass tastes good but later we wonder why in the world we liked it so much. This one is enjoyable from the very first sip. Regardless of the crazy label and name, it’s a great selection to enjoy with dinner and a partner. — a year ago
A most interesting red. Strong start, quick finish, no bite. Doesn’t linger like an unwanted guest. A red blend that seems like it shouldn’t work but certainly does and always results in an empty bottle and looking forward to when the next one is opened. — a year ago
Had it with steak fondue. It would have paired better with lamb or paella since the flavor was bolder. It didn’t linger long so it wasn’t bad. It just wasn’t paired well and that was our fault. We would certainly buy it again. Very tasty. — 3 months ago
Paired with chicken thigh paella. Dry with a fast finish. Somewhat bold flavor that paired perfect with bold flavor paella. The fast finish was perfect with the lasting flavor of the food making the wine not compete with the meal. — 4 months ago
A very pleasant Malbec that went awesome with some properly marinated beef. Excellent balance with a mildly spicy meal! — a year ago
Very pleasant with mild sweetness. Does have a hint of apple taste and went wonderful with a salad that had apple chunks with dried cranberries in it. A new favorite for me. — a year ago

Pretty accurate to ratings given by others. It’s certainly a pleasant wine that pairs well with lower acidic foods or just a pleasant late day toast with that significant other about all there is to be grateful for. Will definitely buy again. — a day ago
