Absolutely beautiful nose: white flowers, citrus zest, wet slate, hints of dill. The kind of aromatics you wish you could just sit and take in all night. An off-dry profile gives the citrusy palate a lemon curd character, but there's just a wee bit too much of a vegetal note in the finish. Excellent value and very enjoyable. — 9 years ago
Excellent as always. More mineral-forward than I recall from past years, with a nice chalky dryness. Very soft fruit, good acidity, and nicely refreshing. — 9 years ago

A little more focused on fruit than is often the case with Littorai, but there are lots of nice, subtle savory notes. Rhubarb and black cherry predominate in the nose, but there's a noticeable subtext of sage, cedar chest and a little tar to balance things out. Fruit is even more prominent on the palate, with the black cherry notes leading the way. Well-rounded tannin and moderate acidity provide a silky feel and pleasing zest in the finish. — 9 years ago

Wonderfully complex nose, bursting with melon, lime and herbs. Semi-sweet, citrusy plate, moderately oily mouthfeel, lemony finish. — 9 years ago

This is a wine that can't really make up its mind what it wants to be, trying to straddle a line between a Meursault-style white Burgundy and a more assertive California-style chardonnay. The result isn't bad. But it's far from great. — 9 years ago
