Fruit and floral bouquet. Beautiful light red in color—almost rosé. So delicate on the palate with a medium finish.

This was a bottle of the Private Cellar Franschoek Cabernet Sauvignon. Bottle no. 2223 of 2700. This wine was immediately drinkable. Berry jam bouquet. Garnet red in color. Tanins were so very mellow. Mouth feel was a little lighter than expected but the luscious finish was long and memorable. — 5 years ago

Incredibly velvety smooth and a long delicious finish. Shared with four others so as to ensure it was consumed within an hour to capture it at it’s peak after decanting. Simply wonderful. — 5 years ago
