In cellar since release, holding up beautifully. Classic Napa Cab! — 8 years ago
Very reminiscent of the Champagne room at Nipp's & Muffy's. — 8 years ago
So many 1997s are showing major fatigue or are just gone. This was fantastic. Still posses delicious black fruits, ripe tannins, elegant barrel spice. A little sniff of age. Stored in climatized wine cellar since release. So damn good! — 7 years ago
Powerful. Inky color showing minimal age. Roasted black plum, minerals and mint. Ripe, sweet tannins. Needs braised lamb shank. — 8 years ago

Eggplant with ruby rim. Nose:: Soy sauce, tapenade, black cherry and Chinese 5 spice. Palate: roasted plum, coffee, dried herbs. The fruit and color suggest more time ahead. A wine worthy of its reputation! — 7 years ago
Cellared from release. Color: dark cranberry with watery rim. Nose: berry/cherry tart and a mint Skol bandit. Palate: black fruits, dill and pepper spice. Bittersweet tannins softening but very much still present. 09 has a lot more life yet but I'm really liking where it is now. — 8 years ago

Showing beautifully. Watery rim fades to light red brick. Nose muted, faint cherry, cedar and leather. Palate, cherry cola, strawberry-rhubarb, hint of menthol. Generous finish—black cherry skin lingers. — 7 years ago
