Supermarket chard - flat fruit, soft, mushy acids, sugary finish. Just don't. — 8 years ago

Dry and medium-high acid make this a refreshing quaff in the 90+ degree heat. Notes of apple, citrus, and a touch of spiced honey on the palate. Tasty time! — 9 years ago

Cherry plum on the palette with a hint of leather and spice as it moves back in your mouth. Long chocolaty finish. Recommended. — 8 years ago

Dark inky purple color, slight pink on the ring. Dark roasted stone fruit on the front palate, followed by mellow tannins and a long silky finish. Great value. Paired with braised oxtail and faux mashed potatoes (cauliflower). Yumm — 8 years ago

Been storing this 2012 since it was released at the winery. It's aged very well. Dark only-purple color, intense purple to pink ring. On the nose I get ripe roasted plum and cherry, a hint of leather and spice. The fruit is moderate to big, fresh plums and chocolate with high glycerine and a supple, long finish. Pairing with an antipasto salad and sausage & pepperoni pizza. Good times! — 8 years ago
