Some intriguing black fruit and funk on the nose here. The palate is tannic and tart--a little young still so mostly inaccessible flavours. But it was the least of evils on this wine by the glass menu. I was happy to find something somewhat earthy for my Gruyere and mushroom decked burger. — 10 years ago

A sparkling red dessert wine made from Malvasia Rosso. Incredible. It picked up all the complexity of our gingerbread/chocolate dessert (which was dressed in mulled red wine) but the bead and acidity left the palate cleansed and ready for the next bite. Think sparkling faded rose sorbet. YUM — 11 years ago
After a decade of stalking this man’s chasselas I was so thrilled to see he does a crémant. Musk, white peach, honey, and funk on the nose and palate, crisp with a long mineral and earthy finish. What’s not to love? At $27 I am really going to be skipping the champers and reaching for this more often. — 8 years ago

This Argentine white grape is my new obsession. So much musky goodness in the nose accompanied by notes of beeswax, hawthorn (a subtle white flower that's addictive), and peach. Lime on the palate with elegant structure and crisp finish. I am giving this an 8.5 only bc there are nicer ones from Salta but where else can you find a beautiful wine like this for (gasp) under ten bucks?! — 10 years ago
A really nice salinity in the bouquet in this one; you can smell the cliffs of Galicia as well as some characteristic white peach. Full-bodied with a crisp finish. Went great with my burrata. — 10 years ago
