2010 Chateau de Campuget Syrah. Very good, earthy Rhone Syrah. Better than its pricier brother. Picked it up at Oakley's Bistro at a wine dinner with friends. — 10 years ago
Good, not great for a $50+ bottle. It appears to be aging well. A light opening, then complex flavors through a decently long finish. 90 RP equivalent. — 11 years ago
2012 Tarima Monastrelli (Alicante): very nice wine for about $8. It has an interesting depth, some nose and a decent (although not complex) finish. Kind of a no- brainer year after year for a deck or pizza wine. — 10 years ago

Nice nose, very approachable. Don't save this for later! Was glad to get seven or so years from it. And I wish we could find Niner wines in Indianapolis- — 11 years ago
2006 BV Pinot (Carneros): quite good, rich with subtleties, aged very well. Picked this up on anniversary trip to Napa (2010) and opened it Fathers' Day 2014. — 10 years ago

2009 Malbec/Petite Verdot: very deep and dark. Great structure but not a lot of depth. May rescore after it opens up a bit. Typical Chalk Hill, does not disappoint! — 11 years ago
Surprised by the soft and long finish on the 2010 Frog's Leap Zinfandel. Decent nose, not so peppery, had it with beef and vegetable soup, a heavy wheat bread with honey. Very good. — 11 years ago

Holding up quite well, if you can find the CyT ID suggest buying a case to drink now or lay down. — 10 years ago
