Surprisingly good for an elemental wine. Dark cherry and cedar. Strong tannin finish. Very nice with Roast Beast. — 7 years ago
A nice Zin with strong berry flavors and a hint of vanilla. The bourbon flavor is in the background and the finish with a combination of wood smoke and pepper as your final flavor. An interesting wine and worth a try but not different enough to be a favorite. There are nicer Zins and, well, it's not a substitute for a good bourbon. — 7 years ago

Silky smooth like a good merlot with full flavor of a cab. Berry and leather. — 7 years ago
Interesting flavors. The bourbon notes are strong at first but it lacks the complexity I was expecting and the finish is disappointing as in not much of anything. I'll finish the bottle but probably won't buy another. — 7 years ago

It is definitely a Cab. Not spectacular but not forgettable either and maybe that’s its strength. This wine will pair well with most anything. It is balanced. Does not overwhelm food like some Cabs do yet has a solid taste that stands up to and compliments other strong flavors. I will buy it again. 2016 vintage. — 6 years ago
Refreshing and a little sweet. Pairs well with white fish (Tilapia) cooked in lemon butter. — 7 years ago

Black cherry and leather to start. Dry in the middle and a little bitter finish. Not bad but not my favorite. — 4 years ago
