Incredibly sous bois on the nose - layers of cedar, pine needle, and moss/mould. Herbal and resinous. Driven by bright fruit on the palate - raspberry and dark cherry - with underlying resin and tar notes. Structured but not overwhelming tannins. — 7 years ago

Very volatile on bottle open. Splash decanted it and left it to come up to temperature and it opened up nicely to pretty + assertive notes of apricot, orange rind, honeysuckle and walnut. Slight tannic grip. Definite bitter component. Quite unstable - came to it the next day and it had fallen apart. — 7 years ago
