Lively, tasty, surprisingly good – especially for €5.70 at a major supermarket. Definitely a keeper! — 6 years ago
Nice and crisp, as most Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs. Ideal for summer days, but will work well with lighter dishes in lower temperatures. All in all, very much worth the €5 price tag at a mainstream supermarket in Brussels. — 6 years ago
70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc. Could be heavier on the Cabernet Sauvignon, but I suppose that’s the point all along – to make a smooth, well-rounded and very easy to drink red. As others have mentioned, at €6.5 at a super market (and that’s in notoriously overpriced Brussels), the price–quality ratio is pretty much unbeatable… and that also justifies my rating. All in all, definitely a good option for mild cheeses and meat cuts. PS. Three years in bottle felt just about right. Not sure it should be allowed to age much longer than five years. — 7 years ago
VERY astringent, but, as others have mentioned, also very food-friendly. A great find! — 3 years ago
Already very interesting at a young age; will buy a case to keep trying it over the next couple of years. Definitely worth the money (€5.50 in notoriously expensive Brussels supermarkets), so no need to hesitate on this one. — 5 years ago
What a stunning wine! All that an extra 8 years did (I tried the same vintage in 2009, at the 10-year mark) was make it more layered and overall impressive. To drink now, decant well ahead (I’m talking minimum 3 hours) and drink from a ‘grand vin’, if you can. To drink later... probably the same? Either way, it will absolutely be worth it. — 7 years ago
Big wine for a relatively small price. Do yourself the favour. The 2014 vintage was wonderful in 2020. — 4 years ago
Still young, but already so typical of its kind. A full, smooth, well-rounded wine that will serve you right with meat, cheese or on its own. — 5 years ago
Pretty decent, but only because I bought it for €3... instead of the usual €9. Otherwise, I’d rate it a bit lower. All in all, it’s an acceptable, fresh, everyday ‘verde’ that pairs well with (very) light fish dishes. — 7 years ago

As deep as its colour, but still fresh, it paired just fine with both fish and game… and it’s a bargain! Highly recommended. — a year ago
