Big, bright red fruit flavors, especially dark cherry. Smoky aroma, and a hint of toast. Very nice.

Big red with good tannins, cherry and blackberry notes, with a peppery finish. — 10 years ago
Classic. One of my favorite reds. — 10 years ago
This is nice. It's an off-sweet white, with pink grapefruit and sour apple notes throughout. It has melon on the finish. Two thumbs up! — 10 years ago
Eight years and worth the wait. Nice cherry and fig taste, and the tannins had lightened nicely. This wine is ready to drink now, further aging will lose more fruit on the front.

First, I'm a huge fan of Sterling. This is a nice cab, but it's too young, and needs a little more time in the bottle. Blackberry and dark cherry present all they, and the finish is spicy and a bit sour. I think the sour element will fade with a little more bottle age. — 11 years ago
This is a nice one. Dark berry and dark cherry on the front, with a mildly peppery finish. — 10 years ago
I popped this open for my wife's birthday. It's a little sweet for a brut, with major micro-bubbles, and noted of honey and sour apples. Nice acidity in the middle, and the Chardonnay grape leaves a bit of a buttery finish.

The Aglianico grape has been a staple for Italian wine since Roman times. Aglianico is a medium to full bodied wine, with a flavor profile of blackberries, plum, and dark cherry. The dark fruit flavors and spices are balanced against medium tannins. The 2007 is ready to drink now, but might benefit from another two or three years of bottle time, at most.

A nice red, good tannins and bright dark cherry and black currant throughout. Sadly, there are $20.00 bottles that are better than this $70.00 bottle. This does not live up to the price. — 10 years ago
