Very pure, linear and precise. Citrus, slate, oyster shell. Bright acid - balanced and refreshing. Really young and much better after 3 hours. Decant early or sit on it for 3+ years. — 7 years ago

This was delicious. Took a bit to open up and stayed fresh through dinner. Surprisingly fresh for 23. Nectarine, brioche, nearly sauternes-like profile but clean and balanced. Long, pure finish. Wish there was another bottle of this in the cellar — 7 years ago

Incredible, penetrating aromas of ripe red cherries, floral cherry blossom and spice. Could smell this unique wine all night. Very tasty with but a bit decadent. Was a perfect pairing with cherry pie dessert. — 7 years ago

A very tasty Pinot that has more Californian character than expected. Broad, rich, dark fruit. Full mid pallet and ripe rich tannin. Seems like a short term drinker. Easy to enjoy now. Not what I was hoping for and not sure if this is typical of Raphet — 7 years ago

Nicely opened after an hour in the glass. A ripe style with beautiful tannin and moderate acidity. Love the rose, red currant, creosote and citrus rind aromas and flavors. Great texture, tannins frame finish. Should have 10 years ahead of it but excellent now — 7 years ago
