No nose, no body, no finish, no structure, no flavor, no value. This could be the worst wine I have ever had to drink. The winemaker needs to return to Argentina where great wines are commonly produced to relearn his craft before coming back to California. This is a pathetic excuse, all too often offered by unknowledgeable townie bars and hotel chains that fool the unsuspecting event attendees into thinking they got a deal. Pure crap. — 8 years ago

I would not go looking for it, but as a mid-week option it fit the bill. No memorable tasting notes. Just good enough. — 8 years ago
Others have said it better than I will. This is a "where's the beef" moment. How it rated highly with professionals is beyond me other than the cash-cow marketing capability of a Chateau Ste Michelle. Is it horrible? No, not at all. Is it memorable? Not a bit. Someone said it had a short middle which perfectly describes this wine. Zero finish and as complex as a piece of paper, and while there is spice in the nose, and it is loaded upfront if you let it sit, it disappears immediately. With such an amazing selection of affordable "everyday" reds, I cant think of any reason to revisit this. I let the wine breath considerably before trying it over two evenings. Perhaps aging would help, but that is likely wishful thinking. — 8 years ago
Jammy Pinot Noir with hints of raspberry. Perfect with an herb and parmesan crusted chicken and garlic-lemon quinoa and sautéed peppers. — 8 years ago
Meh. Sums it up, really. Little to say. Not horrible, not memorable. — 8 years ago
Why shop ever again for a weeknight wine. The other reviews have said it all. Read on, drink up. — 8 years ago
