It's a fine wine (said in an Irish accent). Nothing great, but not at all bad. Fairly dry, in a good way. It's neither remarkable nor extraordinary. Looking for a cheap chianti? This is what you need, mate! — 10 years ago
It's fruity without being sweet. Pretty refreshing compared to other reds I drink. I could have this all night and not complain. — 10 years ago
It's a smooth wine but the flavor is very sharp. Hits the back of your mouth hard. It's not standing up well to our spicy Thai salad, but on it's own it's a tasty dry wine. If you're spending $20+ you could do worse than to pick this up. — 10 years ago
It's a pretty bottle. After that it's all downhill. Smells bad. Like gasoline. Flavor is not much better. Pass on this one, folks. — 10 years ago
I'd say there's nothing remarkable about this wine. It's pretty inoffensive. Which is a pretty offensive way to be if you're a wine. It's pretty dry. If say the flavor of this wine is dry. I'd drink it again but I wouldn't necessarily buy it again. — 10 years ago
It smells like old wood. Makes it seem refined. But maybe I only feel that way cause it's 12 years old. A smoky taste. But after swallowing it feels full in my belly. Heavy. Light in the mouth but heavy in the belly. — 10 years ago
Fruity. Juicy. Spicy. Flavor. Color. This wine is all these things. But it's not loud if you can believe it. This wine will take a back seat to any meal. But each swig is a delight. Another great pickup from cork dork. — 10 years ago
It's not overly robust. Maybe a little spicy. But that could be the shrimp. It's got a sort of turpentine taste to it. Do people call that tannins. Anyway, not too bad. — 10 years ago

There's a fruitiness but it's pretty subdued. The flavor overall is pretty quiet. — 10 years ago
