Yes everyone's right, bottle needed time and to warm up. In chilly fall Seattle, we had to spoon with it for a bit. Paid off though, clean on the palate. I find French white burgundies can have oak notes that make them taste musty to me. Not so here; fresh and fruit-forward, good acidity and medium body. — 10 years ago

Bought a couple cases of this based on WSJ recommendation in 2006. Down to the last couple of bottles, noticing kind of licorice, but almost more eucalyptus/camphor kind of flavors have not detected in this wine before. Still plenty of cherry fruit and a long finish. An elegant Spanish red. — 10 years ago
