On the nose, I really thought it was a Syrah, even the first sip it tasted like a Syrah. Nose of raspberries and subtle peppers. Short finish. — a month ago
Definitely showing its age. Garnet color. Licorice and smoke. Migrating towards a port like finish. — a month ago
Color-deep ruby purple.
Nose-red currant, red, plum, sage,
Palate-med+ tannins, sour cherry, medium finish.
Simple and delicious weeknight faire. Especially for the price. $8 — 17 days ago
Subtle nose of plum, fig, leather. Integrated tannins, medium + length. Smooth finish. — a month ago
Subtle nose of pear and apple. Distinctive Chardonnay flavor on the palate. Beautiful wine. — a month ago
Nutty and raisiny on the nose. Looks like a tawny port, but tastes like a ruby port. Sipping it alone, it’s like eating chocolate covered raisins. Delicious. — a month ago
Prunes, leather, dark fruits, fig. Complex flavors for an aged wine. Still has plenty of tannins yet smooth to drink now. — a month ago
Pronounced nose of red fruits. Rose, strawberry, crush granite, black tea. Interesting pomegranate flavor on the palate. Beautifully balanced wine. Long finish. — a month ago
Pronounced citrus and tropical fruits on the nose. Bright yet gentle. Lively. Very enjoyable. — a month ago

Subtle nose of yellow apple and pear; then I was met with pronounced flavor of melon and tropical fruit. Pairing this with French bread with salted butter, and truffle cheddar cheese. The Wine took a step back and allowed the food to come forward, while still maintaining the beautiful rounded mouth feel. Not a significant wine, but very enjoyable for the price. $8 — 10 days ago
