I remember the first time I had this wine. Loved it. Then my palate moved on and I admit that drinking this dark fruit, liquorice, blackberries, coffee beauty, 9 years old by now, is fun. Heavy on the dark, Priorat tipicity and good. — 19 days ago
Best and most surprising Ribera for a while! Strawberry fields, white acacia blossom, on the red elegant side with silky tannins and a remarkable acidity. Glorious, don’t know the ageing but it’s promising this 2021 — 2 months ago
Expressive nose of dark cherries, blackberries, clove, strawberry, a hint of caramel, well integrated oak. In the mouth the tannins are still harsh, thinner Ribera (this is Soria, they filmed Dr Zhivago here). Drunk too young (the story of my life) — 2 days ago
There was complexity beyond the sour cherries, with notes of incense and camomile. Restrained at first, structured, brought the feeling of a wet autumn morning in the forest. Very good, drunk too young — 4 days ago
Wow! Best Syrah I have tried from Spain. Expressive, elegant, fine tannins, super fruit driven, with violets, smoke, plums, delicious. A discovery from a great house — a month ago
Notes of raspberry, flint, butter. Medium bodied, feel the sun and the acid, oak tannins, length, with blackberries and raspberries. I think this 2022 would have been in great in 2024. Love garnacha, but I feel I’d better drink it young, almost unoaked. — 4 days ago
A bit restrained at first, then opens to notes of butter, strawberries, raspberries, sour cherries and foliage . Medium bodied and bright acidity. Very enjoyable — 12 days ago
I felt it a bit sweet, expressive nose of yeast, ananas, peaches. Good acid, but more volume and sweetness than what I remembered. — 20 days ago
A discovery! A fine version of good old Listán Negro from the Canaries. A 20% of an unknown San Francisco to me. On the wine side. Spices, in a restrained nose, lemmon, white pepper, a note of cinnamon. Medium/light bodied, rose petals, red, spicy, with fine length, remarkable acidity. — 2 months ago

Expressive nose dominated by the toffee caramel notes of the French oak at this stage. Coffee. Felt some toasting there. Good fruit, tannins grippy, yet it is too early. Cherries, plums, for the price not too long. Good quality overall, should see in 5 years time. — a day ago
