Pleasantly surprised by this one. Picked it up at Fortinos of all places. Glad I did - robust and complex, it’s close to on par with their Pelham Baco, maybe tangentially better with that blending of Cab, especially for the price. Highly recommend it — 6 months ago
Nose: bramble berry, fruity Palate: sweet but not overly so, mixed with subtle undertones of leather and spice - it hits all at once with a short finish. Pleasurable but not really memorable - enjoyed with beef nachos and even more with cherries and dark chocolate afterwards — a year ago
Good all around, nothing spectacular but well balanced and mildly complex. Went great with roast pork and all the fixings. Even better the next day, may need to breathe — 2 months ago

As advertised; jammy but unsweet opening, robust mouthfeel with a long bold finish of leathery goodness — a year ago

Very fruity, semisweet with a thin finish, not my usual fare but paired with roasted pork it was perfection. Think Pinot Noir Lite — 5 months ago
Disappointing. Good on it’s own but didn’t stand up well to steak, like others of this varietal which I’m a big fan of. Primitivo-lite — 10 months ago
Loved it, especially as a Canadian! A touch sweeter than their Bourbon version but still robust enough for BBQ steak — a year ago

Chianti in name only, barely even wine tbh. Like grape juice with alcohol added. Hard pass — 12 days ago
