We visited Ployer-Jacquemart last month and shipped two bottles of this B-d-B among other wines. I wish we had shipped more. It drank better than I remembered it to be. Toasty, fresh and effervescent and we’ll structured. The extra brut even seemed to have mellowed. An underrated champagne. — 5 years ago

This champagne has sentimental value but it drinks well too. Some toast, but mainly brioche counterbalanced by green apples, citrus and unripe strawberries. A very faint hint of vanilla on the short finish. — 6 years ago
