They said Cab Sauv doesn't do well this far north. Not true. Here's the myth buster! What a beauty with backbone ...eh!
Gorgeous cassis, Scandinavian licorice, green peppers. A bright Cab with solid tannins and a firm backbone of acidity.
Having said that, there's a wretched history of mediocrity in the Okanagan valley with this grape. β 9 years ago
The first and perhaps last of its kind, yhis Riesling delivers breakneck acidity that's not for the faint of heart but a jewel that will mellow out over the years. Dry, crisp and Alpine in nature, the 2012 vintage afforded so much fruot that the winery decided to make this varietal wine in addition to using it in blends. β 9 years ago
What an aromatic nose. Chocolate and I'd almost say plums on the nose but it's more complex than the simple sweetness of a plum. Incredibly smooth. Plush yet in a demure sort of way. Great structure and surprisingly deft despite its richness. Dry finish. β 8 years ago
Pretty, floral nose. Fruity on the front palate with the back palate highlighting the wine's grippy tannins. Made with Roussanne rather than Viognier that was used in previous vintages, its missing the depth and silkiness of the '13. β 9 years ago
Under-appreciated summer red that has deft and brightness but stands up to a steak frites nicely. Chill a bit for best results. β 8 years ago
What a sexy beast! Deep and dark fruit, spicy and meaty even at this young age, can't wait to see what it'll develop into over the years. Syrah lovers, level up for this beaut! --- wineshout.com β 9 years ago
Wow, crazy good finish on this Riesling ..like a mouth full of gourmet sour soother candies! Great balance of acidity against the fruit and floral that's just gorgeous. β 9 years ago
