Pale gold; a heavenly nose with smoke and an incredible spice character; palate is delightfully intense but still delicate with a youthful bite, texture becomes more old-vines silky, almost oily, with time. Put this away for a few years. It’s a privilege to have one of the reported 700 bottles. Day two the dry extract is weightier and the wine quite chewy. — 4 months ago
